Bradley Willow Trumpfheller

Bradley Trumpfheller is a trans poet, critic, and bookseller. They are the author of a chapbook, RECONSTRUCTIONS (2020), published by Sibling Rivalry Press. Their work has been published in The Baffler, The Nation, Poetry, Cleveland Review of Books, DIAGRAM, Triquarterly, The Rumpus, and elsewhere.

Born in occupied Okinawa to a U.S. military family, Bradley grew up in Nevada, Alabama, Virginia, and Japan. They hold degrees in creative writing and literature from Emerson College and the Michener Center for Writers. They are a 2019 MacDowell fellow, the winner of UT Austin’s 2022 Keene Prize, a 2023 National Endowment for the Arts fellow in Literature, and a finalist for the 2023 FSG Fellowship. They live in Austin, where they run the events series at First Light Books.
